HALESTORM’S ‘HERE TO US’ COVERED ON GLEE…

Posted on February 22, 2012

OPETH covering Bon Jovi. SLASH‘s brief and bizarre interview involving mashed potatoes. MASTODON hang out with Bill Bailey. These are all things we never thought we’d be reporting here on Roadrunner UK but it’s these silly things that tickle us the most. So when we found out that HALESTORM’s anthemic track ‘Here’s To Us‘ was being used in Glee, we had to chuckle as we never thought we would be discussing Glee at Castle Roadrunner! It’s always awesome news when we hear about metal and rock infiltrating the mainstream and this is a prime example. HALESTORM’s original version of the track obviously kicks the Glee version’s ass but we’re happy to see an ace tune making it’s way onto the show. The episode of Glee featuring ‘Here’s To Us‘ airs on the 29th of March in the UK.
