Label mates OPETH and MASTODON are currently on tour together in North America and whilst in Texas, both bands took part in a rare in-store signing session at Disc Go Round in Corpus Christi, on Record Store Day, April 21, 2012. After signing autographs the guys from the bands took some time off to trawl through vinyl and pick up a few items they were after. Check out the video below:

Kentucky rockers BLACK STONE CHERRY have lined up a few additional shows around their previously announced festival appearances this summer. They are also added as special guests on The Darkness’s July date, which is part of The Forestry Commission’s ‘Forest Tours’ series at Thetford Forest in Suffolk.

BLACK STONE CHERRY’s current album ‘Between The Devil And The Deep Blue Sea’ has shifted over 45,000 units to date in the UK, and the band sold out their recent 3-week UK headline tour, which followed an arena run last November with ALTER BRIDGE. They play the following extra gigs around their slots at Isle of Wight in June, and Hyde Park’s Hard Rock Calling in July.

Canadian prog rock legends RUSH are set to release their new album ‘Clockwork Angels‘ but before that hits our stores, you will be able to get your hands on the first single from the album. ‘Headlong Flight‘ will be released on the 29th of April and will be available as a digital single only, until the album is released in full. French metal goliaths GOJIRA, one of the most talked about and beloved extreme bands of the last five years, have revealed ‘L’Enfant Sauvage’ as the title of their stunning Roadrunner Records debut and long-awaited fifth studio album. The title translates to “The Wild Child” and the album features 11 tracks of mind-bending metal that fans can get their paws on the album from June 25th. For fans who can’t wait that long, the band will be releasing the title track from the album ‘L’Enfant Sauvage‘ as a digital single on the 1st of May. Watch this space for further updates!
