French metal heavyweights GOJIRA, one of the most talked about and beloved extreme bands of the last five years, are delighted to announce a one-off instore appearance to tie in with the release of their brand new album ‘L’Enfant Sauvage‘.

Their long-awaited fifth album features 11 tracks of mind-bending metal and lands in stores on Monday 25th June. GOJIRA will be signing from 5:30pm at HMV in Sheffield that day, before taking the stage later in the evening at the Corporation. It is with tremendous pride and excitement that BLOODSTOCK OPEN AIR reveals its final headliner for 2012 to be Oakland metal titans MACHINE HEAD, who will make their first ever UK festival headlining appearance on Saturday, August 11th on the RONNIE JAMES DIO main stage.

MACHINE HEAD first graced UK shores in the wake of their landmark debut album “Burn My Eyes” in 1994 as main support to Slayer. Fan reaction to MACHINE HEAD’s signature brand of crushing metal was so intense that the band would return immediately afterward to headline their own sold-out shows at many of the same venues, launching a massive swell of passionate fan support that continues to this day.

LAMB OF GOD have revealed the official video for the track ‘Desolation‘, taken from their latest album ‘Resolution‘. The video is currently streaming on Metal Hammer’s website and you can check it out by clicking here.

LAMB OF GOD will be hitting the stage at Download Festival this weekend – you can find stage times for Roadrunner bands by pointing your mouse in this direction.

LAMB OF GOD today release the 1st trailer for their projected 2013 feature film, As The Palaces Burn. The film directed and produced by award winning documentary filmmaker, Don Argott and 9.14 Pictures ( Last Days Here, Art of the Steal, Rock School), examines the impact that music and particularly heavy metal music has made on people around the globe as they live in a 21st century world full of economic uncertainty, political unrest, social injustice, and under a constant fear of war and violence. Filming has taken place to date in Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico, India, and Israel. Filming in the United States will take place over the summer months.

Imbedded in the trailer is the video for the band’s 2nd single from the Resolution cd, Desolation. The video was shot at shows in South America and Mexico and is the follow up to the animated video for the track Ghost Walking.

The band currently on tour in Europe, begins the North American tour for Resolution August 1st in Seattle, WA along with co-headliners Dethklok and special guest Gojira.
