Posted on September 25, 2013Slipknot & Scar The Martyr drummer & song writer Joey Jordison recently answered fans questions with a little help from the guys at MusicRadar. Joey had this to say when asked about what he does in his spare time; “That’s a very small amount of time. When I’m not doing anything, I’m mellow. I’ll go to record stores and find obscure records. I’ll sit at home and play with my four cats. I do a lot of art, too. I have a bunch of artwork that maybe some day I’ll put into a gallery. But usually I’m demoing. I try to get a riff out a day and they all end up somewhere.” Click here to read the full article.

MASTODON // NEW ALBUM UPDATE!
Posted on September 25, 2013Atlanta progressive metal monsters Mastodon, announced yesterday via their Facebook Page they are working on a new album which will hopefully be recorded by the end of 2013. Here is the full statement from the band; “MASTODON has been busy jamming everyday writing and arranging the next studio album. we have quite a few songs and ideas that are taking some time to nail down what we think will make it to the next full length. there will be no more touring this year, we will hit the studio in November to hopefully finish by the end of year.”
