MASTODON SET TO RELEASE 7″ VINYL FEATURING FEIST AND THE FLAMING LIPS COVERS FOR RECORD STORE DAY 2012…
Posted on March 24, 2012Georgia metallers MASTODON are set to release a 7″ featuring covers of tracks by The Flaming Lips and Feist to celebrate this year’s Record Store Day. The release features a cover of Wayne Coyne and co’s ‘A Spoonful Weighs A Ton‘ and Feist’s ‘A Commotion‘ – Feist has in turn covered MASTODON‘s ‘Black Tongue‘ for her own Record Store Day release.

MASTODON released their fifth studio album ‘The Hunter’ on Roadrunner last year and the band will be performing their new album from start to finish at this year’s Sonisphere Festival.
