WITHIN TEMPTATION TAKE HOME AWARDS IN THE 2011 LOUDWIRE MUSIC AWARDS…
Posted on January 12, 2012WITHIN TEMPTATION have done well in the 2011 Loudwire Music Awards with Sharon fending off fierce competition to pick up the Rock Goddess of the Year award. More than 50,000 fans voted in the Rock Goddess of the Year category and only a few hundred votes separated Sharon from Evanescence’s Amy Lee. The WITHIN TEMPTATION frontwoman received 40.5% of the vote, while the Evanescence vocalist garnered 39% of the vote. Click here to see the poll results on Loudwire.
The winning didn’t end there though as WITHIN TEMPTATION were also winners in the Rock Album of the Year and Artist of the Year categories. WITHIN TEMPTATION‘s album ‘The Unforgiving’ garnered 42.4% of the total vote. You can see that poll by pointing your mouse in this direction.
