Roadrunner Records are pleased to announce the completion of a licensing deal with highly respected independent US label FERRET MUSIC for Europe including the UK. This exciting deal will see Roadrunner handling the label’s rosta for the above noted territories. First releases are likely to include albums from SCARLET hotly tipped to take heavy music to a new level of ferocity, the almighty ZAO and “noise-core” masters EVERY TIME I DIE – who you can catch in support of Roadrunner’s very own CHIMAIRA on a comprehensive 27 date European & UK tour through February 2004. The next 12 months are also likely to see the first official UK releases for some of the acclaimed albums from Ferret’s catalogue. Most notably, we can anticipate cuts from the huge selling hardcore outfit FROM AUTUMN TO ASHES. The first KILLSWITCH ENGAGE record (prior to signing with Roadrunner) and on the same theme an offering from supreme metalcore merchants BLOOD HAS BEEN SHED – where you can find our very own Killswitch frontman Howard Jones moonlighting. 2004 is going to be an exciting year for Roadrunner having also recently crossed links with US label RAZOR & TIE.
