Posted on September 4, 2013
Opeth frontman Mikael Åkerfeldt spoke with Martin Carlsson of the Swedish newspaper Expressen, about the bands follow up to 2011's progressive triumph 'Heritage'. Åkerfeldt had this to say about the sound of the new material compared to 'Heritage'; "Maybe a little harder, but not death metal hard but hard rock / heavy metal-hard. Since there are many progressive elements and very acoustic guitars but more sinister riffs."
